365 Shades of Christ
(Daily Insight For Christian Living)

As for me, I will always have hope; I will praise you more and more
(Psalm 71:14)

What a beautiful praise song it is that starts with the words What shall I render to You O Lord and proceeds to answer, I will praise Your name and shout hallelujah.

Going through the bible, from Genesis to Revelations, we read stories about people who continued to have hope and place their trust in God even through challenging times. We read in Job 13:15 that Though He slay me, I will hope in Him. Job never lost hope or faith.

The great Shakespeare one quipped “Life is but a story and we are merely players.” The question therefore is what’s your story? How are you playing it out and what’s your desired outcome? Are you still hopeful and are you giving God praise in the midst of your challenges?

Like Job, we may not have chosen the role assigned to us on this great theatre called earth, but we get to determine how we play that role, either discouraged and filled with sadness of heart or with hope in God and living a life filled with praise for Him at all times and through all seasons. Have hope, give praise and watch God transform your life.

Father Almighty God, We bless You as we render all our praise to You this morning. We put our hope and our trust in You. We wait on You O Lord until our change cometh. In Jesus Name. Amen 🙏🏽💕
