365 Shades of Christ
(Daily Insight For Christian Living)

What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
Romans 8:31 (NIV)

Glory be to the Lord God Almighty. We give Him thanks and praise this glorious Sunday.

One of the most difficult things we can go through in life is just being in a state where all vision is lost. When asked if anything could be worse than not having her sight, Helen Keller replied, the only thing worse will be having sight without vision.

Somehow, in a just a few months, the idea of having a vision has been wiped out, we live from day to day, just hoping to get through each day.

As believers we are a people of vision. The Bible says in Joel 2:28 that, ”Then, after doing all those things, I will pour out my Spirit upon all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy. Your old men will dream dreams, and your young men will see visions.” The devil knows this and will do whatever it takes destroy God’s plan.

However, we must forget about the vicissitudes of the year 2020 and trust God to give us fresh vision. We must not be focused about the year 2020 being against us, but as our scripture for today says, we must believe that God is for us at all times, therefore nothing can come against us. Not even the fiery darts of the year 2020.

Father Almighty God, we give You all our praise this morning. Father, forgive us for focusing on the wiles of the enemy and losing our vision. We come before Your throne of grace and ask O Lord, that You give us fresh vision. In Jesus Name. Amen 🙏🏽💕
